Back to the Drawing Board… Again

If you’ve been following my writing journey for a while, you might have noticed something: my book covers have changed. Again.

And yes, I know what you’re thinking — aren’t you supposed to settle on one and stick with it? Probably. Conventional wisdom says consistency matters, and I don’t disagree. But sometimes, as creatives, you have to trust your instincts… and listen when something just isn’t quite working.

I genuinely loved the last set of covers. They felt right at the time, and I was proud of them. But as much as I connected with them personally, they just weren’t landing with readers in the way I’d hoped. In a crowded marketplace like Amazon, a cover has one job above all else: to make someone stop scrolling. And if it isn’t doing that, it’s time to rethink.

So, back to the drawing board I went.

The new covers feel cleaner, stronger, and much more aligned with the stories themselves. They still carry the heart of the books, but with a sharper focus on what I want readers to feel before they even turn the first page. It’s always a balancing act between creating something I love and creating something that works — and hopefully this time I’ve found that sweet spot.

Will these be the final versions? I certainly hope so.

Writing a book is one journey. Publishing it is another entirely. And sometimes, that journey means accepting that not every decision you make first time is the right one. The important thing is to keep moving, keep learning, and keep improving.

So here they are — the new faces of my stories. I hope you like them as much as I do.
