Taken at Trebarwith Strand on Cornwall's rugged north coast, this image captures the final moments of sunset as the last light spills across the slate rock formations and reflects in a naturally formed tidal pool. I was drawn to the leading lines in the foreground, which guide the viewer through the scene towards Gull Rock and the setting sun beyond. By positioning the camera low to the ground and waiting for the sea to retreat, I was able to use the still water as a mirror, reflecting the colours and textures of the sky.
